FIRE & ICE FESTIVAL

CANCELLED DUE TO UNSAFE ICE

ICE WATCH

1/20/24 Unfortunately, ice thickness is inconsistent in the event area and with the upcoming warming temperatures ahead, we have decided to cancel this year's event. We know it's a disappointment but we learned that the ice is still only 4-6" in some areas despite the stretch of subzero temps.

12/27/23 It's been a warm winter so far but there's still plenty of time for the ice to form. We'll check the ice depth closer to the event date and adjust location/date if needed.

LET'S HAVE A BLAST!

Celebrate Redwood Falls invites you to come and have a blast on Lake Redwood on Saturday, February 3 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Fire & Ice Festival! Enjoy free activities and food for all ages! Bring your skates to enjoy the ice on a rink or follow the cleared trail upriver. Pick up your hot dog, s’mores kit and hot beverage and gather round one of the many bonfires. Get in on mini golf, broom ball, bean bag, Bobski racing (chairs on skis) and other games. Take a walk along the Tiki Torch Trail or jump in line at the Cornerstone Church sled rides to explore more of the Redwood River. For the big finale, we’re going to shake the lake again with a fireworks show at 8:00pm! No matter how you look at it, it’s a COOL way to spend your night!

Organizers hope to see everyone out on the ice enjoying the many activities and would like to thank all of our sponsors who make this event possible including Cornerstone Church, MN Valley Snow Riders Club, Northwest Drywall, and S&S Rental. This is the ninth year of the Fire & Ice Festival on Lake Redwood. For additional updates, like and follow Celebrate Redwood Falls on Facebook at www.facebook.com/CelebrateRWF!
