FIRE & ICE FESTIVAL
February 8, 2025
LET'S HAVE A BLAST!
Celebrate Redwood Falls invites you to come and have a blast on Lake Redwood on Saturday, February 8 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Fire & Ice Festival! Enjoy free activities and food for all ages! Bring your skates to enjoy the ice on a rink or follow the cleared trail upriver. Pick up your hot dog, s’mores kit and hot beverage and gather round one of the many bonfires. Get in on mini golf, broom ball, bean bag, Bobski racing (chairs on skis) and other games. Take a walk along the Tiki Torch Trail or jump in line at the Cornerstone Church sled rides to explore more of the Redwood River. For the big finale, we’re going to shake the lake again with a fireworks show at 8:00pm! No matter how you look at it, it’s a COOL way to spend your night!
Organizers hope to see everyone out on the ice enjoying the many activities and would like to thank all of our sponsors who make this event possible including Cornerstone Church, MN Valley Snow Riders Club, Northwest Drywall, and S&S Rental. This is the ninth year of the Fire & Ice Festival on Lake Redwood. For additional updates, like and follow Celebrate Redwood Falls on Facebook at www.facebook.com/CelebrateRWF!
We hear the kids love spotting the dinos, animals, fairies and spooks along the trails so we've added a weyr of dragons (yes, I had to look that up 🤣). Come see where your favorites are this year and explore more of the park in the dark to find them all! Only one week to go! NightFalls at Ramsey Park May 1-3 from 8:30-11:00pm #RamseyPark #RedwoodArea #ExploretheParkintheDark #NightFalls #CRWF
Each group brings their own fun to add to the lights we provide--who can forget @farmersunionindustries cute cow, Gertsema's Enchanted Land at Ramsey Falls, or the Redwood Falls Lions Club Lion? Who knows what you'll find this year as you explore the park in the dark! NightFalls is 10 days away! We collected our new lights on Friday from Connie Bohn who rolled all of them up for us with help from Lori and Paul Hagert and Cathy Prouty. Connie and friends have been helping us for several years--thanks light crew! Our new grand total is 440,900 lights that will light up the park this year along with lights that some Illuminator groups provide themselves! That's a whole lotta lights to enjoy during NightFalls!!! NightFalls at Ramsey Park May 1-3 from 8:30-11:00pm #RamseyPark #RedwoodArea #ExploretheParkintheDark #NightFalls #CRWF
Illuminators are groups that light an area along the roadway or another area of the park. We have room for more if you want to help us highlight the park! Most groups finish an area in 1-2 hours with as few as 4 people. Leave a comment, send an email to [email protected] or contact us via Messenger.
